OH GOD it's like Apshai! SO SEXYYYY.
(shows age)
Sound Effects don't stay off, though. (walking sound)
OO I love this. I tried the online engine you're using before.. I couldn't grasp it. It just seemed so... indirect and workaround, you know? But, maybe they're better now. ;) Also, you still have spelling errors. ;) Retrieve, etc..

JeffreyDriver responds:

Thank you. I wasn't familiar with Apshai, but I looked it up. Looks rather interesting! I'm going to try and run it on an emulator.

I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Stencyl has come a long way. When I first tried Stencyl I was underwhelmed, but I stuck with it and I'm glad that I did. Thanks for the typo report (although they're probably not typos, I'm just dyslexic!)

nice. the backtracking is a problem though. why NOT have backtracking? some of us like to explore and get everything... just a thought. ;)

DavidMarchand responds:

Thanks for the comment! Like I said to an earlier comment, we just came up with level design ideas that weren’t easily backtrackable, mostly about falling to a lower area and not being able to jump back up (the whole game is about going deeper and deeper into an underground secret base, so it made sense at the time).

The main Play button leads you to a level select / “overworld” map, and the Extras menu shows you which levels you’re missing collectibles from, so I thought I was taking reasonably good care of my completionist players. I guess I’ll have to be more careful next time.

Aw, I liked this one, SD! It was cute and relaxing, (no math) Do more like it! Waaay too short though! ;) The music was hyperactive and distracting... but still, it was a nice game.
SNAIL wont unlock.

man I love your games. (Ainars) It Is still Ainars, right? O.O

And I really like the music you used in this. Very relaxing! What is it?

Ha! You know what I really liked? The simple effect of the texture on the foyer, which gave it a pleasant feeling of distance/perspective. ;)

I love Le Danse Macabre (especially that run)! So when I hear it on your thing, it's always nice.
Also, the badger.

Don't make the clickable objects move like that. (the moon object) Some of us have tracking problems and cognitive deficits, okay? ;) Other than that?

Reminds me of Nematon Monastery, the one they used in Shadow Hearts.

Ah, the things are getting harder to see, and therefore find... not fun. but, at least it's still Ainars.

- 2 stars for the time-trial aspect. I loathe time trials.
Otherwise, love this. Takes me back.

cute and xmasy! ;) (thanks!)

The 'snow' puzzle threw me for a minute. I was worried it was a complicated substitution and my brain is just mush right now, so... had to look it up. Turns out it was just
ILGGSRIGVVM. ;)

One hundred meters? That ought to keep the cows guessing.
