Cough reminds me of Dennis Farina's character 'Detective Fontana' on Law and Order.

Muja responds:

I googled him and, yeah, you're right! They kinda look alike.

Thank you for your review!

meh, three stars because I was really looking forward to interrogating Chrltt, the commissioner and Bah separately; they would have made interesting suspects. ;(
also the arrow hand really sticks bad; there should be a way to cancel the movement early.
Also, it froze on 'that' screen, and I already had cookies enabled. (am using Opera) Didn't freeze the first time, second or third... but it sure froze afterward, consistently, made the game unplayable... ;(((( I was at the very end too, about to catch the culprit! ;)

Muja responds:

I'm very sorry about the bug, I'll have to look into it so it doesn't repeat itself in future games...
Thank you for your review nonetheless!

AHH so much fun. Movement was a little sluggish though, especially between rooms, so, one star off for that, sadly. Loved that Chan, Marple, Poirot and Maigret were in there. Too bad Dalgliesh wasn't- but, knowing Dalgliesh, he wouldn't be caught dead there. ;) loved this man. loved it hard. for a minute I thought that Wooh (LOL) was Nero Wolfe, who I am not fond of.

Muja responds:

Sluggish..? How so..?
Unfortunately I have to point out that Wooh is, actually, based on Nero Wolfe. But really, apart from their names and appearances, each character is his own person - I didn't want to completely "copy" them.

Thank you for your very nice review!

nice and foggy, SD! Too short though. But on the other hand, the shortness was a pleasant little romp. really liked this one!

woohooo! Been waiting hopefully for another game from you. thank you so hard for continuing to share your unique style with all of us fans!

edit: just finished the game. This is beautiful, man. I love your art style; it's original and transformative, and unlike so many games and flash movies with tons of movement and color, your art doesn't hurt my eyes. and your stories always center around exploration and becoming free... you give us your soul with these games, and do us fans an important service in the process. ;)

Your games are important to humanity. It may sound silly to some people, but your games are very touching, unique, fun, transformative... I could go on. I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way. They're always quality, and I always look forward to them, because you spend the time and effort, and don't cut corners.

what's the story behind the one lone 'petrified' woman, near the devil cook? (the devil cook was my favorite character, by the way. Damn I love your stuff- I have a weakness for applied mythology.)

alway love these. the slightly-soft colors are really easy on the eyes. love the collage-style mishmash of objects- it's not too busy either.

noice! However, the text could have benefited from a proofreader. ;)

can't remember which bits; mostly near the end.

Nirag responds:

Thank you very much!
I'm trying to figure out which lines of text need some corrections. As soon as I find them, I'll update the game with the corrections!

hehe, funny little game. But timed sessions are a no go for my nerves. ;)

... the cursor is here. click on this to open the window. in fact, click on this to start the game, read a book, go to the bathroom, etc. eek. nothing says EWWWW like telling the player they're in a game when they already know that. stop doing this. now. It's bad writing, bad gaming and bad development. we know it's a window. we know it's a door. we instinctively click on those things. k? ;) The whole point of ADVENTURE is exploration and discovery, hence the genre title, ADVENTURE POINT AND CLICK. The art is fantastic though, very original! make an interface that flows with that. WRITE like you feel.
aw, the downvotes feed me, keep em coming. Nothing says hubris like a five year old with a keyboard. Do note I was actually encouraging the game developer, you twits. There, one more star. The art WAS nice. Keep improving your great work, Teshla and co.

Too much telling. If you're going to bother with a visual game, then SHOW SHOW SHOW. ;) minimal telling, used sparsely and with competence, is a must for this genre, else you risk complete dis-immersion. ;) something to consider. Other than that? NOICE.

TheEnkian responds:

I tried to give it a bit of framing at the start and end, but maybe went a little dialogue heavy. Glad you enjoyed it overall though! Thanks for the feedback.

One hundred meters? That ought to keep the cows guessing.
