I just want the cute blue and white dog-thing.

I'm glad you like him, his name is Dot. He's my new mascot.

Aww, is it a different character? I liked the first version! She looked nice. But again, the movement is SO fluid! GREAT JOB on that. GREAT DAMN JOB.

OMG. CUTEEEE. Ahem. You get a Gold Star for Mathematical Excellence. Also TEH CUTE.
this was sweet, fun, short and classy. And I LOVED the way the witch moved the objects behind her; so natural. ;)))) Thank you for such a nice little flash! It was kind and uplifting.

Does Philip Roth possess you nightly? Is he your spirit animal?

LOL. so. much. LOL. Is there more? ah, bring me back to Sunday School, when I was still a tyke listening to all the other kids drool and wondering, why did the kool-aid taste like pee?

Damn. The lump makes me shiver. but I'd totally try to cut it off. After flipping it off, setting it on fire and injecting it with hydrofluoric acid. Just for kicks.
Installed, though? you don't normally see that usage paired with this kind of sentence.
11318 - Oh sorry Anton! ;) I just meant that 'installed' as you used it in the story summary in the author note section seemed a bit strange; you don't normally see installed used in a setting like this story; it's more... technical, machine-like, normally, you know? That's what I meant. ;) Again, great flash! It makes me hold my chest and cringe.

oh man, this just makes me think of the message I just sent cthulhuzann about her possibly doing an Elric of Melnibone bit. The angelic statue especially, har di har. With your obscenely clear mastery of abstract mood and imagery, and her Crow-esque work, you guys could totally make Elric come to life in glorious form. You guys are my fantasy football team right now. Although, granted I am NOT a sports person. ;) Just using the analogy. The halo, the carousel strands, the Cerebral Energy in general... freedom as the 'actualizing, motile force'. The last, and therefore first, Terror. That most primal of fears. There is another more succinct word for that, but right now, to my infinite frustration, it escapes me.

The only reasonable answer is 'the creation itself, though self-creating, is not omnipotent yet, and as such does not know where it is headed.' Is this reasonable? Again I feel there is that partitioning, and that a portion of it may such an inkling as to direct its icebergian bulk with great confidence from the shadows.
Ah, sadly, I am only able to clearly dissect as I've been doing in short bursts, and I feel it is leaving me right now, as I have not eaten yet, so enthralled I am with your masterpiece. And no, I do not see it as evil, merely, so vast it cannot be contained in such inadequacy as duality.
The vworp sound reminds me of Doctor Who. heh heh! my GOD your imagery is intense and so very exploratory. But to call it experimental as many might and may have refuses the point, I think. ;)

The Cosmic Egg. The Great Alchemical Work. The Great Spectacle. My god man. This is...
Three Dessicated Embryos? Or am I off the mark?
Perhaps Gymnopedie 03, I believe?
oh man. oh man oh man oh man. I am near-giddy with fascination. Today. I am a fickle creature.

shit. Just shit. I am so in awe of your work. The child sees Mischief, instinctively recognizes itself, and looks away in fear. Out-frickin-standing. Never have I seen something use Jungian? symbolism so succinctly and in such a masterful way. It's a far superior application to anything I could ever dream up, let alone manifest to any satisfying degree. I say 'something' rather than the expected 'someone' because I am again paying homage to your work in another respect, and I suspect you probably know how. ;) Possibly, anyway. I feel... enthralled, intrigued. Mischief is frightening yet kind, present yet absent, approachable yet foreboding. This series is without a doubt the most fascinating study I have seen in years. Thank you so much for this gift. The only irksome thing is my own failing; I know intuitively that I am missing something, some recognition with regard to this series that will elucidate my own jagged dealings with ephemeral experience, but I cannot reach it to define it, and thusly have yet to cup it from the waters. So frustrating! AND MAGRITTE! YOU HAVE MAGRITTE! Did you ever read Mythago Wood? I read it as a child, and it continues to shape me. (The altered Magritte cover edition, Le Blanc Seing). together with Grant's Rumors of Spring, it made for a terrible and beautiful journey. I only had the stomach for the second book, Lavondyss after the first, sadly. I am a coward who has not yet read the rest. But then, I may not need to.

One hundred meters? That ought to keep the cows guessing.
